Welcome to The World of Lil' Redd online shop. These Terms & Conditions govern purchases and use of our online store.

By accessing the shop, placing an order, or purchasing a product, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these Terms & Conditions and any other policies applicable to your purchase.

1. Store Use

Our online shop is intended for customers who are legally able to enter into a purchase transaction. Children should not place orders without the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order.

2. Products & Availability

We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our books, products, pricing, and availability.

Colors and appearance may vary slightly between digital displays and physical printed products.

Products, quantities, promotions, gifts, and special offers are subject to availability and may be changed or discontinued when appropriate.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable shipping charges, taxes, and other fees may be added during checkout.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, product-description, or listing errors. If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, we may contact the customer before fulfillment to determine an appropriate resolution.

4. Pre-Orders

Products identified as pre-orders are purchased before their anticipated release or fulfillment period.

The World of Lil' Redd: Lil' Redd Doesn't Look Like Everyone Else is coming September 2026.

Release, printing, shipping, and fulfillment estimates may change because of production schedules, carrier delays, inventory availability, emergencies, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

Customers will be notified when a material change requires additional action concerning their order.

5. Signed & Personalized Books

Customers are responsible for entering personalization information correctly.

Please carefully review names, spelling, and other personalization instructions before submitting your order.

We are not responsible for personalization errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by the customer.

Signed and personalized products are final sale except when an item arrives damaged or an error was made by us.

6. Bulk Orders

Schools, libraries, churches, childcare programs, businesses, nonprofit organizations, literacy programs, and other groups may qualify for bulk-order pricing.

Bulk pricing, shipping, fulfillment schedules, payment requirements, and other terms may vary depending on quantity and destination.

Large or specially arranged orders may be subject to separate written terms.

7. Book Launch Event Pickup & Delivery

Customers may be offered the option to receive their pre-order at an official The World of Lil' Redd Book Launch Event.

Customers selecting event pickup or delivery are responsible for attending the designated event or contacting us to arrange an alternative fulfillment method.

Failure to attend does not automatically cancel an order or entitle the customer to a refund.

If shipment is requested after event pickup was originally selected, applicable shipping and handling charges may be required before the order is mailed.

8. Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

We are not responsible for delays, returns, losses, or misdeliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses submitted by customers.

Once an order is transferred to a shipping carrier, delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

9. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Eligibility for returns, refunds, replacements, exchanges, and cancellations is governed by our posted Returns & Refunds Policy.

Customers should review that policy before completing a purchase.

Personalized and certain signed products may be final sale.

10. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe there is a billing, fulfillment, delivery, or other problem with your purchase, please contact us directly and provide a reasonable opportunity for the matter to be investigated and resolved.

Customers should not use a payment dispute or chargeback to intentionally circumvent policies accepted when placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from exercising legitimate rights available through their financial institution, payment provider, or applicable law.

11. False or Fraudulent Claims

Customers must not knowingly provide false, fabricated, fraudulent, or materially misleading information in connection with an order, refund request, delivery claim, chargeback, payment dispute, or fraud allegation.

If we reasonably believe that intentionally falsified information has been submitted, we reserve the right to preserve relevant records, contest the claim, provide documentation to appropriate payment or financial institutions, restrict future transactions, and pursue remedies available under applicable law.

Where legally appropriate, this may include seeking recovery of losses, fees, costs, or damages resulting from fraudulent conduct.

12. Order Refusal or Cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, payment problems, inventory limitations, pricing errors, policy violations, abusive conduct, or other legitimate business reasons.

If we cancel a paid order that has not been fulfilled for reasons unrelated to customer misconduct, an appropriate refund will generally be issued for the canceled portion.

13. Intellectual Property

The World of Lil' Redd, its characters, stories, illustrations, logos, designs, written content, activity materials, photographs, promotional materials, and other original creative works may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a book or product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained within it.

Content may not be reproduced, copied, republished, sold, distributed, modified, commercially exploited, or used to create derivative products without appropriate authorization, except as permitted by applicable law.

14. Educational & Classroom Use

Purchasing a book does not automatically grant permission to reproduce or distribute copyrighted pages, illustrations, activities, or other materials to multiple individuals.

Educators, schools, libraries, churches, and organizations should obtain any permissions required for reproduction or institutional use beyond what is permitted by law or expressly authorized with the product.

15. Promotions & Gifts

Promotional items, preorder gifts, discounts, and special offers may be subject to separate eligibility requirements, quantities, and expiration periods.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

16. Privacy

Information collected through the shop is handled according to our posted Privacy Policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that certain information must be processed for payment, fulfillment, customer service, fraud prevention, and other legitimate business purposes.

17. Third-Party Services

Our store may use third-party ecommerce platforms, payment processors, shipping carriers, and other service providers.

Use of those services may also be governed by the applicable provider's terms and policies.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The World of Lil' Redd and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the shop or purchase of its products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable laws of the State of North Carolina and the United States, without limiting any consumer protections or other rights that apply under governing law.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions as our shop, products, fulfillment methods, or legal requirements change.

The Terms posted at the time of a transaction will generally govern that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.
